Read on to discover the defining differences between LaH6 Skin Hydration Complex and LaB6 Skin Clearing Complex, which range and products are right for you and how to fit these into your everyday routine for ultimate skin confidence!
What are the defining differences between each range?
What ingredients are in each complex and how do they support different skin concerns?
The bespoke formulas for each range contain advanced active ingredients to directly target your skin concerns. The one thing both ranges have in common is our hero ingredient: Lactic Acid. Here at Ameliorate we LOVE Lactic Acid, and include it in all of our formulas, because of its transformative results! This Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) exfoliates, hydrates and resurfaces the skin to improve appearance, refine texture and boost radiance. So, what additional ingredients exist within each complex and what do they do for your skin?

Understanding which range is for you:
Both ranges have products that can be used to help concerns from head to toe! You should pick products accordingly, depending on the concerns that you have with your skin.
If you only suffer from blemishes, imperfections, oily skin and blocked pores, you will see the best results from just using the LaB6 range. Or, do you have a visible mark, spot or inflamed bump? They may be painful, have black or white marks, be filled with pus, and in a group. This sounds like blemishes or acne, and we’d recommend you start using our new LaB6 blemish range. Dry, rough patches of skin with tiny bumps blocking hair follicles, without pain or itching? This is Keratosis Pilaris, and we’d recommend you use our LaH6 range. Is it a raised, pigmented spot (or group of spots) that looks like a little pimple, or a painful, boil-like sore? There may be pus inside the spots, or you may see the hair that's causing the problem? This is caused by ingrown hairs, so we’d recommend you use our LaH6 range.
You can also mix and match products from each range, depending on how your skin presents. For instance, you may have a combination skin type where you suffer from an oily t-zone with very dry skin elsewhere. If this is the case, we would suggest that you mix and match between our ranges and apply the products to the specific areas, depending on the support they need. For example, a basic combination skin routine of:
Resurfacing Facial Cleanser that sits within our LaH6 range: this will cleanse your skin without drying it out further, which could cause excess oil/sebum production.Transforming Clarity Facial Serum that sits within our LaB6 range. This will provide a targeted, high-concentration blemish treatment.Day: Blemish Balancing Facial Moisturiser , used to absorb oil, reduce redness, and increase moisture levels in the skin.Night: Replenishing Facial Cream Moisturiser, which will provide instant and long-lasting hydration to nourish and support your skin.
